Who is the PCOS group programme suitable for?
Women (age 18 years or over) diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), looking to improve their current and future health and wellbeing, using an integrative and lifestyle medicine approach.
How will the PCOS group programme be delivered?
The programme is delivered by our expert multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals which include specialist medical doctors and nutritional therapist, exercise physiologist, medical herbalist, yoga therapist, lifestyle medicine & health coach, and mental wellbeing coach support. It is a mix of live 60 minute sessions (usually once every 2 weeks) and pre-recorded content and resources related to that monthʼs theme that is released on a weekly basis according to that month’s theme.
The programme is delivered mainly through the community platform called Circle, although we use a separate system for delivering course surveys and questionnaires. Please do not share any links or proprietary Synthesis Clinic PCOS group programme information with anyone who is not on the programme. All recordings are confidential, and the Synthesis PCOS group programme is copyrighted and should not be reproduced without prior written permission.
Please note that this is not a self-paced course. While you can catch up on the content and recordings, the group programme is designed to be followed over the course of 6 months and the Q&A sessions would ideally be attended live with recordings for catching up on the material where you cannot make the live session. We have designed it as a course to be followed together to help build a stronger community and provide you with a better experience as a group. Ongoing access to recordings can be obtained through an ongoing community subscription after the completion of the course. There is no ongoing access to videos after the course has been completed outside of a community membership model.
You may be asked to complete some questionnaires and scores. This is to help us see where you are at and to help us evaluate the programme as we go on for further improvement.
What is the monthly fee and how do I get started?
The monthly membership fee for the group programme incorporating input from our multidisciplinary team is £50 per month.
