Paediatric Integrative Cancer Care
Sarah
Sarah is a registered Nutritional Therapist who specialises in working with children and families. Sarah trained at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition and is registered with The British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). Sarah has undertaken postgraduate courses in children's health and a 12-month mentorship programme with the Fertility Nutrition Centre and is currently undergoing Systems Approach to Cancer training with Dr Nina Fuller-Shavel, ensuring that she has up-to-date qualifications and knowledge to help support her clients.
Sarah believes that diet and lifestyle play a crucial role in children's current and future health but understands that creating and maintaining a healthy and nourishing diet for children and families, while juggling the demands of treatment, recovery and just general modern life can be challenging. Sarah's goal is to alleviate this stress by supporting busy families in making easy and lasting health and nutrition changes which will help them reach their health goals and foster a positive relationship with food.
Sarah started her career in the media in London but after seeing the positive effects that nutritional changes had on her own health she retrained as a Nutritional Therapist. Being a mother to two children inspired Sarah to work with families and specialise in children’s health. Sarah incorporates child-friendly functional testing and appropriate supplements into her practice to support dietary and lifestyle changes, guiding families towards achieving better health alongside other members of our paediatric integrative cancer care team.
